Mr. Sharon Halmkan/Mrs Clixby United Kingdom: They are one of our valued donors in Siem Reap. E-mail: sharon.halmkan@gmail.com. They got involved with Angkor Charity Organization in March 2014. The Angkor Charity Organization is trying to help a variety of people and causes in Cambodia. This ranges from orphan children to people without clean water. In the west, we can take education and clean water for granted and it was humbling to visit Cambodia and see first-hand the conditions many thousands of people live in - how could we not try and help. We met Nou Tat in March 2014 whilst on an organized trip to Cambodia. During the private and excellent guided tour he explained his history and all about the work of the charity. We met him in March 2014. Nou Tat was very honest with us about his and the country’s history and the charity work he is carrying out. We felt a great bond to this simple and honest man and his passion for his country and peoples. We felt we needed to help and only wish we could do more. We have you known it since March 2014. We trusted this organization. Yes. It was important to us that we met the founder and director of the charity and felt a great understanding of the work he is doing. We also felt able to trust him and that is why we are saving money to send to Cambodia to support his important work. We wish we could do more. Our whole family try to support it. We both save money to help. We will try and send regular donations, probably every 4 months and hope to continue this into the future.
